HI TPA shall provide ID cards with unique ID number (UHID) to each insured member of a policy. This UHID will be used to validate the member’s identity for efficient and timely claims processing.

Member ID Card Creation process is stated below:

Insurance Companies share the policy and member information with HITPA

HI TPA generates UHID for every member covered in the policy and Member ID Card is created

Member ID card is printed and dispatched to the policyholder’s mailing address or provided as eCard

The member can also download the electronic version of the Member ID Card. The steps involved in downloading the e Member ID card are stated below:

The Member logs in to HI TPA’s website www.hitpa.co.in with his login credentials (Member name/UHID number/Policy Number etc)

Post Login, click on Download ecard option to download the card

Save the Card on your desktop/ hand held device and take print
